The stair gate complies with European standards EN1930:2011. The Berrin XXL features a two-step safety opening mechanism , meaning the integrated safety button must first be pressed before the door gate can be opened. This ensures that the gate can only be opened by adults.

The Berrin XXL safety gate can be opened by adults with just one hand, so you always have one free for your child. The 90° stop mechanism allows the door to be held at 90°, allowing comfortable passage even with full hands.
Easy assembly
The Berrin XXL is installed in a snap. The gate is easily clamped into place using the four included adjustment screws. The adjustment screws provide a 10cm range, allowing you to individually adjust the safety gate to your door or staircase. No drilling is required! The stopper on the bottom allows you to adjust the direction the gate opens. For even easier installation, there's a QR code in the instructions that takes you directly to our installation video .
Flexibility through extensions:
The safety gate can be extended with extensions in sizes of 10 cm, 20 cm, 30 cm, and 45 cm . Simply select the desired size from the dropdown menu, and we'll send you the matching combination. Staircase assembly using Y-spindles
The Y-spindles allow you to mount the safety gate on stair railings. The Y-spindles are suitable for railings with round bars with a maximum diameter of 7 cm. Please note that the Y-spindles may only be used on one side. For this purpose, select the Berrin XXL stair gate with Y-spindles.
Wall protection caps
The wall protection caps are mounted on both sides at the top between the adjusting screw and the wall. This provides additional protection for your wall. Furthermore, the wall protection cap distributes the pressure over a larger area, further increasing stability. connecting rail
Each extension comes with a connecting rail that stabilizes the transition between the grille and the extension. Especially if you order a very wide grille, we recommend additionally stabilizing the transitions with a U-rail.
